Become Part of the Supporting Cast for Our Specialty Acting Course

Act Up has partnered with qualified acting coaches and mental health professionals to create our 6 to 7 week beginner acting course for veterans. We will offer an advanced course in the future, but our primary goal right now is for former military members to begin learning the basics. Our nonprofit organization is sincerely thankful for any financial assistance or volunteering time you can provide.

Tax-Deductible Donations

We are primarily looking for monetary donations and also accept any items for silent auctions. Donations go toward the program, operating costs, our professional acting coaches, renting the facilities where the classes are held, and travel and lodging for veterans, if needed. You can make a tax-deductible donation through our website or by mail.

Volunteering Details

For individuals interested in becoming a member or partner, please send an email with your basic information, why you would like to volunteer, and how you heard about us. No pre-qualifications are required, and time commitments are based on the event. We need volunteers to assist with fundraising events, invitations, registration, and other tasks.

Fundraisers in the Works

Act Up plans to host charity golf events throughout the year and an annual gala. The funds raised will cover expenses for the acting coaches, our facilities, and maintaining the organization. Check back for updates on the dates and times for these exciting fundraisers.
